3 weeks of May 2019 I spent near the Baikal lake, in Buryatia and Irkutsk region. It had been extremely cold there, Baikal still had been covered with ice, so I decided to move south to Mongolia for a few days. It was uneasy but really interesting trip, and here's the sketchbook I filled on the road.

Buryatia is a buddist region of Russia, so Ulan-Ude — its capital — has a couple of great Datsans. This sketches are from Rinpoche Bagsha datsan
Ulan-Ude is famous by its historical wooden houses with amazing carved elements
This is the only sketches of Baikal I've made, since it was freezingly cold there
